Audio-Technica Noise Canceling Headset.
This headset features the highest fidelity sound qualilty combined with the most advanced active noise-canceling technology. It is very light weight, very attractive, and feels very soft against your head. It is a big advance over the traditional industrial-style aviation headsets which squeeze your head in an effort to create passive noise canceling.

Headset is shown in its "lay-flat" position, which makes it very compact to carry with you in its zippered carrying case, which is included. Notice that the carrying case has a zippered internal pocket and room for the other components that you will also want to take with you.

The headset has its own batteries, separate from the microphone, to greatly extend battery life. These are standard AAA batteries, which could easily be traded out in flight if necessary.

Mach5 Noise Canceling Boom Microphone.
This microphone is a top-of-the-line aviation electret noise canceling unit. It is attached or removed from the the headset using the shaft and nut, and plugs into our special cable. You will be heard just as clearly as you hear, with this advanced mic because it picks up the sound from your lips and suppresses all the other sounds in the cockpit.

Mach5 Aviation Cable.
This cable plugs into the audio ports of the aircraft, and also into the Mach5 headset. It is shielded but flexible. It includes its own volume control for when you need greater control than is offered by your comms system. And, because it is detachable, it is one of the features that allow the Mach5 headset to be used for other purposes than just in the cockpit.

Mach5 Wireless Stereo Receiver.
The Stereo Receiver is shown attached to the headset. It is simple to unsnap the aviation boom microphone, and snap on this wireless receiver. This receiver will pair with nearly any Bluetooth iPod, MP3 player, or mobile phone. You can listen to stereo music wireless, while enjoying the noise canceling capability of your headse. And if a phone call comes in, this receiver will interupt the music and let you answer the phone call with a push on the big button. In fact, this receiver honors all of the Bluetooth phone protocols, meaning that it can control conferencing other calls in, putting calls on hold, making outbound calls, including calling back the last number, etc.

Mach5 Stereo Transmitter. Also shown is the wireless transmitter, because not all of your music sources have Bluetooth capability. You can plug this transmitter into the 3.5mm audio socket and it will transmit music directly to the stereo receiver on your headset. Also shown is the audio plug adapter, because your home stereo system may not have a 3.5mm socket. This adapter will let you plug in the transmitter and turn your home stereo system into a wireless system, so you can listen to music without disturbing anyone else!

Mach5 Computer Voice Software and Transmitter.
The same Stereo Transmitter mentioned above has yet another use. Rather than plug it into an audio port, it can also be plugged into the USB port of a Windows PC using the supplied USB cable. Then by downloading the special software which is included with your headset, your computer can be set up to pair with your Mach5 headset. You will be able to talk wirelessly over Google Voice or Skype. Computer games that support voice communication is supported.

If you like to pace when you talk, or if you don't like to settle for the poor quality of the built-in mic on your computer, then this use of the Mach5 headset and its included software will be a real appreciated bonus.

Mach5 Cable and Airline Adapter.
When traveling on a commercial airline, you may wish to just plug your noise canceling headset into your seat and listen to a movie. There is never any delay between the actors lips and your audio this way. And you still get superior noise canceling audio fidelity, from the headset. (We have even included a special adapter for those airline seats which require two plugs instead of one.) You may also wish to use the cable for the very highest quality stereo sound from your iPod to your headset.

And yes, it is possible to plug the stereo transmitter into your airline seat, and attach the stereo receiver onto your headset and listen wirelessly. If you have to go to the restroom and it is close enough, you might still be able to hear the sound of the movie and not miss much.
